Don Julio 70 is an añejo cristalino — the style Don Julio created to mark the 70th anniversary of Don Julio González's first tequila. Made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the Jalisco Highlands, it is aged 18 months in American white oak and then charcoal filtered until the colour is stripped away, leaving the clarity of a blanco with the depth of an añejo. Crisp and smooth on the palate, with vanilla, honey and toasted oak, closing on lingering oak and a clean, warm finish. Bottled at 40% ABV.
